I inhabit two worlds: truth and lies.
With science I chisel towards truth, never knowing the statue’s form until the final marble drops. I’m a knowledge junkie and my fix is gaining those few seconds when I am the only one on Earth who knows this something new about the Universe.
Through my fiction, I am an unstoppable liar and lies can sometimes taste sweeter and stand grander than truth. The less truth the more delectable the lie, and there is no greater lie than speculative fiction.
I grew up in the Centre of the Universe (Toronto) and now I make Zürich my base of operations. I’m a doctoral student studying computational astrophysics at the Institute for Theoretical Physics, and an author of fantasy and science fiction. Yes, my jacket really is that pink but Bern isn’t really that black and white.
